Enrollment Policy and Procedures

Enrollment in the MAP Program is by lottery and is open to any student in the Ross Valley School District.  The lottery and enrollment is administered entirely by Ross Valley District staff (not MAP or Manor). The application process consists of the following steps:
  • Attend a MAP Orientation meeting in January and go on a program tour beginning in February or March (highly recommended).
  • Read the MAP Fundamentals and related documents.
  • Complete and submit a written MAP Application along with your Ross Valley School District enrollment paperwork at your neighborhood school by the Kindergarten open enrollment deadline.
  • A lottery will be conducted and a waitlist will be created if there are more applicants than available spaces.
Applications for Kindergarten will be accepted for the following year during the open enrollment period from late January to early April.  If there are more applicants than spaces available, a lottery will be held at the close of the enrollment period.

The Manor school office (415-453-1544) can provide a list of MAP parents who would be happy to meet and discuss
MAP and any questions that you might have.
